London

My goal was to hit London for a couple of days and then head to Portugal. Once I got here I realized I missed the city and I needed to explore it a few more days.  I was craving a high tea and seeing the English gardens.  I decided I would put off my flight to PT until this Friday.  

While on Facebook and chatting with a friend she called out that her friends were also there and would love to meet up.  We planned a dinner and that was so much fun!  It was a wine pairing event they already had tickets to and they squeezed me in.  I'm not a big drinker but you forget how much you are consuming when you are 'tasting'.  It was a good thing a taxi was just outside the door when I gingerly stepped out of the restaurant. 

I also had the chance to plan a day in the city with Steve and it's always nice to see him.  Even though he is not the 'one', he is a good man and has become a good friend.  

He lives just outside of London and needs to come into the city a couple times a week for work so we decided this Wednesday would be a good day.  He will be in Chelsea and I'm in a district right next door,  so not difficult placements to grab a meal and catch up.  He also just visited PT so he will give me a few tips. That is always nice.  

I have had a great few days here and loads of beautiful flowers to see, smell and touch!
